Intake Manifold Opinions?!?

It's getting to the point where I need to start thinking about the induction side of my build, and well i've got it narrowed down to a couple of options.

Originally I wanted a NRE intake, but i'm just not that ballin haha. I know the Edelbrock has proved it's usefulness on other builds i've seen, but I'd like to mix in some form with my function. The Holley does add the wow factor, but i've never seen anybody run one. I know long runners make for better torque, I'm just not sure how it will work with a set-up that will have a powerband of like 3k-6.5k.

Anyways, here are the two options i'm considering, open for opinions and factoids.

1.) Holley High Rise EFI set-up with 102mm TB

2.) Edelbrock carb'd manifold with Elbow

i vote vic jr. with a 4150 throttle body. the elbows on the edelbrock intakes have proven to be a power restriction.

You're talking about the 4-barrel throttle bodies? Was the power restriction seen on an n/a motor or FI? My truck is going to have twins huffing air through the motor. I haven't researched them much, do they make one that will work with the harnesses TPS sensor?

if you're planning on twins i would save the cash and just keep a stock truck manifold.
