Iac 2000rpm

Well still trying to get this thing to idle. We have tired PCM after PCM with no luck. Unplug it and idle's just fine plug it in and it jumps to 2000 every time. We even went back to a stock PCM and still goes to 2000. Have tried three TB's and four IAC and all do the same. The truck was a 4.8 with a 4L60e Now is a 5.8 with a 4L80e and Maggie and long tub headers and true duels. Truck is making 9lbs of boost and runs great.

:bang:HELP!!!!!:bang:

Who's tuning it? Are you logging what it's doing? Obviously it's not a mechanical issue.

5.8l?

Nelson did the tune and he has been great but we are bagging our head's. Not logging it have no way to do it.

You'll keep banging your head too until you log it. Based on what you've described with multiple parts doing the same thing, it's gotta be in the tune somewhere.

What and were can I get something to log it. I know how to log and how to read it I have a FAST setup on my Nova. Also the pcm is locked Nelson locks all he dose.

:hmmm: If you can get the idle lower by unplugging the IAC, then the PCM should be able to do that too? It sounds like the PCM is commanding the higher idle for some reason. Maybe you still have a 4.8 in there????????????
