How much max timing are you running?
#11
Do you guys turn off the knock sensors at a certain rpm and above, leave them alone, or turn down the senseativity. I'll have to plug in my scanner and do a pull to see what my timing is at

Tune up thats been on the truck about a year now.
How much boost: 20psi
what type of boost: T4 S480/92 1.10
What type of fuel: pump E85
target AFR: 11.0-11.5 on gas scale
compression: 9.5:1 5.7L, stock 317s, LS9 head gaskets
max timing: 15.0 thru peak Tq, 17.0 up top thru 7,000

How much boost: Avg ~12psi (figuring out some boost spike issues)
what type of boost: Kenne Bell 2.8L
What type of fuel: pump 93oct E10
target AFR: .78Lambda / 11.45 gas scale
compression: 9.5:1 6.1L, TEA/TFS 245 heads, LS9 head gaskets
max timing: 20* across the board
I am still tuning to find what this setup likes. Previous setup with smaller cam and hand ported 241 heads on 15psi liked 20-22* timing dependent on air temp. Lower timing gained ET and lost MPH. With a more efficient combustion chamber, this setup may actually like less timing.

It's great to see so many replies to this. I wish there were more supercharger guys who would chime in... seems theyre all in hiding. Turbo's rule the roost now anyway... I know I'll never compete on the big end with you guys.
I may try 16 on one of my next test runs... possibly 17 as revs climb to help with top end even more. I used to be able to pull 6300 RPM with the cam NA but the last new times out it kind of felt as though it was dropping off a little over 6k... maybe more timing will help that.
