Default How much boost can a 5.3 handle?
So you guys never answered my ? how much boost can stock 5.3 handle without blowing up because I hear mixed answers!

we gave you an answer, if the tune is on and ur getting enough fuel it handle plenty. idk if you answered me in the other thread but do you have a wideband?

You here mixed answers cause not all engine combos are the same.

IMO maxed out probably around 18-20psi.That would be using heads to drop the comp. also.

run 7 and keep watch for KR.

search Forced induction for Handle and I bet you'll see plenty of threads with the same title. Incase you don't get the answer you're looking for.

I run 10 psi and am kicking it up to 12 or 14 this week
