high IAT temps

I have recently put a KB 2.6 super charger on my 5.3 and I have a couple of issues to solve. One is high iat temps is meth my only option.

Nice set-up. how high are your iat's??

Hi IAT's are a real problem with the twin screws if you overdrive them to much. My 2.4 was hitting 270 degrees before the intercooler. That is why I switched to the turbo's. If you can keep the blower speed under 1.5 times engine speed it will help.

I'm a firm believer in the reduced IAT's that meth provides. Awesome power increase for the price, at least on my set-up. I run an Alky control kit and it can be 90 degrees outside and my IAT's never go above 70* during a full throttle run. I have a procharger though, so mine aren't nearly as high as yours to begin with. I run straight meth and its pretty much turned up all the way.

What are your IAT's and where are you taking the measurment from?

At 1.5 times engine speed, I would have a 5 inch blower pulley, and I would have zero boost. With 9 psi boost, I am running 2.6 times engine speed. You must have meant 2.5 times engine speed.

I have had the set up for about a week. A full pull to 6200 170 degrees starting at 109 I started to try and check everything. i don't know if the coolant pumps working right. i pulled the cap and it seems to be aerating the sytem. has anybody seen that be for.

I think you have that litt KB maxed out. Time for some meth. Where is your air filter? Is it an open element under the hood?
