Default Help me choose my turbo

My build:
Factory LM7 (stock internals)
Z06 cam w/yellow springs & 7.450 rods
Marine shorty 8.1L injectors #17113739
Fuel pump (not sure what I want)
Built 4l60e for 600 hp (only want to make 500 on this setup)
Differential upgrades
Turbo??? (Not sure but I want quick spool up, 10psi max)
Intercooler

What do you guys think as far as a turbo? Any estimates on hp? I want to be right around 500hp.

A 67 would probably do it.

Best bang for the buck, Master Power T70. It's tried and trued for 500rwhp on 5.3 with out a problem.

Master Power T70 is a great turbo for the price. It should put you right at your goal of 500rwhp, which will be getting you close to the limit of your injectors as well. If you want it to spool instantly, go with a .68 a/r turbine housing. I would go with a .96 or 1.0 though.

Master Power doesn't have any of there particular turbos, but you can use one like this to get a rough idea. It will be very similar because it's the same size.
