The belt is to long imo, I had it right the first time and tried the way aklowrider showed me and its even longer, I say it longer because the tensioner ain't even getting forced towards 3:00 like it should so it won't rubbed in the tensioner, anybody knows what belt size is used for a procharged truck with a 4.5 pulley and the HD tensioner.??

its kind hard to call off a size to you. what i would do is compress the tensioner to where it should be and pull the slack out of the belt and measure how much slack you got and go by that or take the belt in with you to napa (or where ever your going to get the belt) and get one a lil shorter .

the tensioner ca be clocked in either position......both work fine.....I personally use the more upright position. You want the tensioner fairly tight so when the belt stretches (and it will stretch) there is enough internal spring left to keep it under tension.

If you haven't thrown a belt on a properly setup arrangement it's probably more due to driving habits than having the right setup......given enough time......you will through a belt.....most common scenario is the on off on throttle action or "peddling"

of note: LC32/TMac setups in the jack-shaft configuration do the best job I've seen at controlling this......i.e. all pulleys have shoulders; tensioner pulley has an exaggerated shoulder....yada yada

Hey guys well I measured the size around the pulleys and I got 114 this time with the tensioner moved pretty much how the pictures seen before and got the 114, I myself thought it was to short but that's what I got by measuring it, I ordered a 114.5 just incase, what yal think.?

Why not buy a few cheap belts around 114" from local parts store and find out which is the right one and return them and order a better one.
