main caps ,who running stock bolts and who running arp studs(after line honing).a engine builder was telling me u should always use studs on force induction engine over 10lbs of boost thoughts

If doing a fully built motor do ARPs
If boosting stock leave stock alone With said if you rattle that motor youll flex that crank |
Yea I would say its worth doing the studs if you already have it apart.

back fresh studded
Had to ease my mind . Pulled engine out tore it apart and studded block with arp studs .Got back together and running 250 miles on it new build . after 500 mile going back to mobil 1 oil . conventional rottella 15-40 .Cant take the heat . My machine man said bearing were getting hot . Had to replace cam bearing .

I picked up studs for mine while it's getting built. I actually went with arp for nearly every bolt on or in the engine.
