I decided on the T67, 67/84mm .70 AR compressor, 73/64mm turbine .84 AR exhaust, Q Trim. The turbo is both oil and water cooled.

If you haven't already purchased it you should look into one of the MP T70's in the classifieds... I think there are two. They are perfect for a 5.3 and might save you some change

87 with boost and towing sounds like a baddd idea..

i ran the 60mm on a rear mount STS it. Towed ALOT with it.
could get 6psi boost at 1800rpms easy and very fast.
Ran a W/A IC and never had IAT get over 125*, even towing 12,000#.
Towed a 6400# box trailer ( i think thats what it weighed, or close) from here to Kentucky about 1300 miles round trip. stayed in boost most of the way and used about 5 gallons of Meth. After the first fuel stop i ended up getting the laptop out and did some fine tuning on the fuel and spark tables. picked up 3mpg.

Dont go cheap on the setup,, IATs get high and your loosing most of your power you could be using.

Meth will help either way

I always used 93oct, always.
the difference between 87 and 93 OCT here is only a few dollars on a whole tank, its not worth it to spend that much money on a turbo setup and go cheap on your fuel.

Slight change of plans, I bought a Roush (same as SLP) TVS 1900 supercharger kit with less than 5k miles on it a week ago for a song.

Finished installing it a few days ago and got it dyno tuned yesterday, very pleased with the results. Details in sig.

Thinking about the LS9 cam now.....

Very nice!!!
Only thing about the LS9 cam is, its really soft down low. It does shine in the higher RPMS, but down low its a dog..
Just something to consider..

A LS6 cam would suit you better.

LS9 211/230 .558/.552 122.5
LS6 204/218 .551/.547 117
