sure you can but it will make more hp with the wg's dumping.

put some cut outs on'em lol so during daily driving it queit and and when racing you have power lol.

how does it make more power when you dump the waste gates? cut out on a turbo i can see but how does it affect power with the wg. if anything you would think it would cause the wg's not to dump out as much air there for giving more boost. enlighten me i don't understand.

never mind found it lol. makes since now.

"Plumbing the Ex gate back into the DP typicaly loses 10-20whp and increases the flow through the DP and catback. In doing this you create a pressure differential across the gate and you are asking two different speed and temp exhaust streams to mesh into one and flow out the tailpipe. Generaly a bad idea."

i need to look at the numbers a little closer but it didn't do as well as i hoped.

we drove it there and back home, over 50miles each way. thats a good thing.

from memory the first run was at 12.2psi and it hit 736rwhp and ~780tq. i was prety excited, that seemed like a good starting point. from there on up it didn't pick up very well at all. less than 20hp per psi. took it up to about 18psi and got around 876rwhp, 19psi got me 880rwhp. it didn't look like there was much left so we stoped.

i am hopeing runing it thru the exhaust was the bigest power robber. i didn't expect it to kill the power like it did but something sure did and the exhaust seems the most likely. on the last set up i had a 4"dp and 3.5" exhaust and a 4" cut out right on the dp. opening the cut out on the down pipe gave it something like 60hp and that was when the hp was in the 700range. i never tried it with a closed cut out at any higher of hp level.

i wont be going back till i get some cut outs and the intake.

some good news. the chart shows it was just barely more lag than before and i bet open cut outs(like it had before), will put the twins at about the same amount of lag.

i am going to go look at the data and see if there are any charts i can post up.
