choosing a turbo converter.

choosing a turbo converter.
I'm a total noob when it comes to converters. I've always had 6 speed cars.
The truck is a turbo 5.3 with a cam. 78mm turbo. 4l80e.
I found a local guy on ls1tech that has a new coan converter. I think it may work for my setup just curious if I'm right.
its there 265mm maximum performance triple torque multi-disk lockup unit. it has a billet cover and billet apply plate. He says its a 3,00 to 3,500 stall and has one free restall if needed.
What are your guys thoughts? any help appreciated.

I would go with a little less of a stall personally, I had a circle D 3200 and didn't like it for my daily, terrible mileage and unless I was really on it it felt like I had less power. I'm back with a I6 trailblazer stock converter and couldn't be happier.

Coan makes a hell of stall. If it's in good shape, a triple disk as you say, and the price is right, no way in hell I would pick a budget stall over it. No brainer here.
