ATI/Livernois??

Which would you go with if you could get the ATI for half the price?? I read the sticky at the top but wanted to get some opinions from people that have maybe used both. Thanks

Well if it is truely half the price and you're getting all the same stuff except 1 is a turbo and the other is the ATi then I'd get the ATI and spend the rest of the cash on tranny upgrades, converter, tuning etc.

The turbo is the better power adder IMO but you still have to buy mods to make the package work to its fullest.

This is the kit I was thinking about:

Do you have to relocate anything to install the ATI??

mzoomora 03-01-2006 04:21 PM

I like the Livernois kit but since I do tow regularly I was worried about underhood and turbo temps. I have the ATI and it is an easy install.

:werd: The ati install is fairly straight forward. The only thing that has to be relocated is the pcm, and this is only if you have a 4wd. If it's a 2wd, then everything literaly just bolts on.

Only things I see missing are the fuel pump, a tune, and some gauges.

i went with the livernois kit but if you plan on make big hp plan on spending big $$ 3100 is a smokin deal on what i have forsale.
ethan :)

since the injectors and headers are included, this does seem like a good deal. I just got a quote from 2 different ls1tech sponsors on a F-1C with 3 core intercooler and I was shocked at how inexpensive it is. Much cheaper than a Radix or Livernois kit. AND it will make way more power. The P1SC is unfortunately WAY too small for my goals.

I'm not really looking to make big hp. I just want that surprise for people on the street. I just love the sound of the turbos

I have an inline ati fuel pump if you are going to need it. I odnt nknow what it is worth, but let me know.
