Afr and timing question

I'm currently running a procharger d1 at about 12-12.5 psi, 20* timimg and 11.7 afr. Spraying 70% meth/water. My iat's get well below ambient temps. Would it be safe to increase the timing and lean it out more? Since my iats stay around 60-70 at wot. Just trying to squeeze alittle more power out of the current setup

U on pump Gas

Damn that's a lot of timing. Do centri blowers allow for more timing versus turbos?

Why not raise boost

91 and 70% meth. Starts spraying at 3psi. Full at 11. And I'm looking for a smaller pulley. But my wife is pregnant and doesn't work and we have a 3 year old. So funds are somewhat limited right now

I would not lean it out any at all, hell at that boost I would fatten it up to 11.5 esp considering the stoich of meth.

yea me too.. i was targeting 11.2 and with 100% meth it was seeing 11.0. And 20* sounds pretty dang high for 12psi.

You got a vary hot tune there already, I would raise the boost and drop timing before I would add any timing at your current boost level. Too much timing or too lean will hurt a motor much quicker then to much boost would, let the boost make the power not timing. I run 11.2af and 15 degrees timing at 20psi with e85, 20 degrees at 12psi. Id be down at 17 or so with 91 and meth.

this is the answer.

if you have the spare fund to blow it up. go for it. me personally. id back the timing down

What I'm mainly confused about is why you have to have so much fuel and lower the timing. I understand that more air is in the cylinder. So it needs more fuel for the increase in air. But a full point? My intake temps are pretty low due to the large fmic, and the water meth. And the timing is higher than most I guess. But my logs show 0 knock. And ran the time in my sig like that
