will i need a smaller belt?. mines a little large as it is

Try to get the tightest belt possible. They tend to stretch a little anyway.

I am running the Bosch purple inj. that came with my 1900, LTFT's could be a bit better, but not bad enough to change out to bigger ones. Now I do not have the 6.2, but a 6.0 and a much heavier vehicle(2500 suburban) driving easy I can see 14mpg highway, driving like I normally do 12.5-13mpg highway...around town I'm a solid 10-11mpg and you don't want to know what it is when towing...40 gallons of 93 octane goes quick..lol.
