Default ? about fuel and PSI

My Truck is a 08 Denali which I don't think is Flex fuel. (not sure how to check the badges where already deleted). I would like to be in the 500-550 range. I've ready birdmans thread a 100 times and everybody else that has a 6.2 turbo truck threads that I can find. But most are flex fuel already.

I'm going to turbo it next year so I want to get the stuff done now to prepare for that.

1. What will non flex fuel pump support PSI and HP?

2. What injectors should I run and by going to bigger injectors now will I gain any HP over the stock ones.

3. Should I just go ahead and convert to a Flex fuel pump.

Thanks guy I'm trying to research as much as I can before I ask questions.

I would put in a walbro 255 as that is probably the most proven upgrade that will work in that power range.

As for injectors 60# injectors will support that HP. Injectors alone will not gain you HP unless you are already past the capacity of what you currently run, but they will allow you to build more HP.

Is the walbro 255 a direct swap.

Kind of... pop out your fuel bucket and you can use factory wires. It's fairly easy. Larger pumps may require a dedicated wiring system so you don't melt anything.

I thought the flex fuel pumps were basically the same as a walbro255...I would put a walbro400 in there, just to make sure its worth doing.

What fuel do you want to use? A 255 for 550hp using e85 probably won't cut it. And I don't think Walbro rates their 255 for ethanol even though I know many people that have without issue. I would just get a 450 which is rated by Walbro for gas and ethanol, will be plenty of fuel, and costs 100 bucks.

I run 93 now and I would like to keep it that way. I can't get E85 around here anyway.

I would like to get things done like injectors and fuel pump done months before I purchase a turbo kit to keep the wife happy.

What hp is the stock non flex fuel pump good for? 450 maybe with injectors, or will it not support 60# injectors
