Not sure why you can't tow with a gas turbo. The ecoboost kicks the crap out everything from GM and Dodge in this.

You can pull with a gas turbo.
But the system needs to be set up to haul loads.
One turbo might make 700hp on a gas engine. But that same turbo might be wrong for pulling.
Just depends on how it's all set up.

The turbo can work for you really well. Defiantly don't go to small especially on the turbine you need to keep it efficient. A 7675 would be the absolute smallest turbine and it would build a few psi under 2800 RPM's loaded climbing the hill. 3 psi will make a big difference lugging up that hill. Run a proper size wastegate to keep boost in line.

This say's it all= get a supercharger it will give you more low end than a turbo with just a bolt on.
