Default 5.3 stock w turbo questions

I had a 2010 SS L99 Camaro that I had a 76 mm Turbonetics ready made kit for the car made 499/566 at the tires on a low reading dyno car went 11.98 on street tires at 121mph .
Motor was bone stock and it survived the driving I did with it. Its now owned by a friend and its doing fine.
I was pretty happy with the car but it got sold to put a pool in the yard for my sons.
Getting the itch to maybe put a turbo on my truck or twins. I'm not looking to go nuts its a daily driver. I probably wont take it to the track much and will plan to run a safe tune.
My question how will a stock 5.3 hold up with a mildly tuned turbo set up ? Id be thrilled with 450-500 at the tires.
Also does anyone recommend a certain kit ? ive looked at On3 and Speed engineering they both look pretty good to me
Thnx in advance

A stock engine will do exactly that without any real issue at all. That power level is perfect for a daily driver on that specific engine.

Just do the normal upgrades like MAP sensor, fuel pump, injectors. I'd do some better valve springs but it's not required.

Trick or KB racing for a turbo kit would be my first options. On3 doesn't get the best rep and haven't seen anyone running the SE kits yet.

Don't forget to remember that your stock 4L60e won't like the 200whp bump and the stock G80 should be upgraded.

Stock 5.3 will easily hold it. I'd do injectors maybe an in tank pump if it's not flex fuel and valve springs to keep the valves closing under boost. Probably don't even need hardened push rods although a small conservative cam and kit would be nice and give about 50 hp with the turbo. My fave by far would be our sponsor Trick turbo.

Motor can take it all day.

As FFDP said, the 60e will puke.

I would do an 80e swap if the budget supports it.

Thanks so much for the info.
Going to look at Trick and try to figure out how much money it would run.

gives us a call and we can go over options and kits cost.
Depending on options, can swing prices on twins pretty far.

We have received our mandrel bent down pipes.
We have casted stainless manifolds both sides.

Give a shout or a text.
