ok now my budget is maximium 20,000 us $

i dont wanna change my engine to lq9 or l92 or whatever i wanna kick the streets with a 4.8 engine.

ok i need first a iron block with a good connecting rods and crank shaft and

low pressure pistons to get a high strok then , go to the next step and its

twin turbo kit i will buy 2 t3/4 garret turbos and the exhaust and the turbo

minifold ect... im gonna do it costum since no company offers a twin turbo 4.8 kit .


and yeah what cam is good for a twin turbo 4.8 ????? sorry but im serious and searched the net and didnt found nothing i want to finish my project in this 2 month . wanna kick a new z06 corvette .


ohh yeah my ecu will be stock ecu but ill manage it with hp tuner since im not going at high boost i will be pleased with 12 psi . offcourse with a upgrade fuel system.

so what do u think of ma project

might try talking to 8ALTNG he had a turbo'd 4.8 and went the fastest of all 4.8s i think

pistons and rods will be custom made and $$$$

my friend has the same truck i have and he add lq9 engine with procharger and a cam and he kick a zo6 a.. in quarter mile .

no you will be faster if you get a forged 6.0L and put about 12-14psi on it, that'll do it

 

Just so you'll know.....if you do a stroker, it will no longer be a 4.8 liter.

 

i know it wount be a 4.8 but what would it be, if you know offhand

i know if he bored to ls1 bore and used a 4"stroke it'd be a 383...

if you are going with a 4.8 this is your best bet
