3 bar map sensor for truck intake

Just curious what people have done for a 3 bar map sensor on a truck intake. I've been doing a lot of reading and I can't seem to find much for a truck intake. The motor is a gen 3 motor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have made them before. How much boost are looking to make? A 2.5 bar will get you to 21 PSI.

It'll be right around there somewhere. I'm looking to max out an S475 on a 5.3, so about 800rwhp or so.

That is the one I run. Never had an issue with it.

The top port is the perfect size for a 3/8 npt tap if you want to run a generic map sensor with a nipple on it. I did that just fine for a while.

How long do you expect a gen 3 5.3 to last at those levels? Serious question, as I'm looking to max out an on3 78/75 on a gen 3 5.3. Figured that I'd bend the rods in this heavy truck before the turbo was maxed.

With the older rods you are just waiting for them to bend at over 600-700whp.

It's an 06 L33 so it has better rods. Still considered gen 3 though.

Pretty sure an l33 holds the SBE record right now in a foxbody. Badass lil motor!

Sorry, I didn't see your previous message. I expect this motor to be pretty reliable at 750-800rwhp. My tuner has a nova with a 4.8 stock longblock, the heads have never even been off of it, with an ls6 cam and turbo and it made 904rwhp. There is another car that he tunes that has a 4.8 similar setup and it has ran 8.20s. They beat on these motors consistently, too.
