Default 2300 too big for 5.3?

I been kicking around the idea of getting into FI. I have a cammed and full bolt on 5.3 with 3000 stall in a CC 2008 5.3L. Is the 2300 too much overkill for the 5.3 or should I stick to a 1900?

im not looking at going more than 8lbs. website shows the tvs 1900 is only 6lbs. The whipple was showing 8.5lbs with the 2300. Thats why I was leaning that way. I thought the TVS 1900 pullies were machined on and a pain to change.

TVS pullies are very easy to change, 1900/2300 have the same pullies.

Yep...I maxed out my 1900 at 8lbs....on a 408

Same pulley on a 5.3 wouldve been around 15lbs

Im not saying blowers dont have their place, but have you ever riden in a high powered turbo setup? No comparison at higher engine speed.
