Thats gonna be a chore. Based on my own experience, 100k aint gonna get you there. You'll have 60k minimum in the driveline, and that does not include any plumbing, wiring or an efi system.

I've been asked a gazillion times what it would cost to duplicate my truck. It's hard to answer because it has been through so many variations (like most do) and I'm sure i'm near the 150k mark from day 1.

But if you wanted to duplicate what I have, skipping all the bullshit.....I can't see it getting built for less than 80-90k.....and my **** is not even close to what you are demanding.

****, you want 2000 hp on the ground reliably. The cylinder head package alone is gonna be 12-15 grand without valvetrain. Let that sink in for a bit.

Big block, Fueltech, twins, E85, high dollar 400 trans, strange out back, something custom and high dollar in the front, and I don't have a clue what sort of transfer case that would require.... I'd really consider the BBC because there are far more "known" combos out there for that kind of power. The LS stuff in that power range is way up there cost-wise.

Truth be known with how these things go and stuff needs to be re-engineered because of one thing or another, your 100K number would get you a real nice rolling chassis, maybe with an engine and probably not a trans or transfer , and I wouldn't count on it being wired or plumbed...

I would look at a 500-600in BBC personally. Would be much happier at that power level and puts some weight on the front.

40-50k in an engine. This engine is rated at 2500. Nelshttp://www.nelsonracingengines.com/~...522-tt-crw.pdfon. And includes a lot of parts needed. Fuel system and tuning program.
8-12k in a trans
2-4K in rear ended fab 9" with big everything.

Cage work??? If your building off a truck platform, or a chassis car with a carbon fiber truck shell. This one could keep you in budget or just destroy it.
Might be able to find a roller that fits into what your looking for.

In the end 2000hp is huge step up into another platform and the support systems for that power level.

So when are you going to start the project, plus binder to keep all invoices in?

Nelson builds **** that people sit around and like to look and talk about. When was the last time you saw anything of his do anything impressive outside of his own dyno cell? Never.

2-4k in a fab 9" rear doesn't get you big anything. I've got 6500 in my fab 9.

F-bomb can do 8's in the quarter, so that's outside of a dyno cell. Just because not much is seen of his high dollar motors on the youtubes doesn't mean they won't make a **** ton of power and not care while doing it.

F-bomb has never run an 8. "It will run an 8" is as close as it has gotten. Don't get me wrong, those cars (especially the fbomb) are the ****. He's just not really a dedicated race engine builder, and is self admitted to that many times. Which is fine. He does what he does and does it well.

For a project like the OP is talking, I'd probably look else where engine builder wise.

While we are on the subject of the F-bomb, after you stand back and walk away from it, it really disappoints. The car is absolutely sick. Easily one of the best looking f-bodies around. However, after watching everyone drool all over the near 1500 hp dyno pulls and the car traps in the mid 140's........you have to scratch your head.
