Default 14+ whipple belt help

Ok guys with DI whipple set ups ,what have you found for a belt better than what you get from whipple.what comes is a k061054

I was looking to find the gates green belt, found a K061058HD fleetrunner ,it looks to be longer and I have already pullied down.I looked at sticky no help been all over the net looking for cross ref. the belt companys sites suck.Cant find gator belt long enough, maybe there is and I couldnt find it.

I could be making it harder than it needs to be ,who has found a better belt?

k061054 is 105.43 long
k061058 is 105.77 long

What length do you need? How much travel does your tensioner have left.

Gates makes a K061054RPM which is made for blowers and the same length as your current belt only it wont stretch as bad.

Or drop down to a K061045RPM which is 104.4

All this is off the gates site. All HD green belts have a part number ending in HD. All RPM belts end in RPM. The rest of the number is the same.

Why not rpm? They are the better option.

Interested in getting a new belt as well. I’ll have to start researching the difffernce between rpm HD and green. I’m on stock whipper one now. With a 3.75 pulley

If he shredded one then his belt alignment is off or something else is jacked up. I’ve been running a blower of some sort for over 12 years on my truck and I’ve never shredded a belt. With the correct length belt and the proper tensioner you can do a lot
