They let Rob run a 10.0 class with no cage. Give it a try!

I am a little concerned about tech this year myself. All class rules except for true street state "All vehicles MUST pass NHRA\IHRA safety inspection for ET and speed".
This is the excerpt from the true street rules:
"CLASS & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
It is the participant’s responsibility to familiarize oneself with the class requirements as found in the 2014 NMCA rulebook and the safety requirements as found in the 2014 NHRA rulebook. The participant agrees that the participant bears the ultimate responsibility at all times to ensure the safety of participant’s vehicle and to ensure that participant complies with all applicable NHRA & NMCA rules.
The participant agrees that participant is in the best position to know about the construction and operation of participant’s vehicle, equipment, and clothing, and whether there has been compliance with all applicable NHRA & NMCA rules."

As you can see True Street is pretty ambiguous as to tech compliance but all other classes seem pretty strict.

I am taking my helmet and see what happens. If they shut me down, I'll back down the boost and run the 11.50 class. Wonder how my truck would autocross with no sway bar and 315 radials? ha ha ha

You need to have that cruise air/fuel and timing touched up. I get close to 20 mpg.

I don't quite have that luxury. I guess I could just enter the 11.50 class and try to sand-bag it. Hell, since I haven't had a chance to test the truck at the track yet, it may only run high 11's and I won't have anything to worry about.
