I've heard a ton of buzz about this year's LS Fest but haven't seen anything about it on here... anybody going?? I figure since I'm off active duty I can finally plan and start making some of these events.

There, stuck till the event is over... hopefully there'll be some more traffic here and we can fill up the Roll Call and try to meet up during the event, maybe the SDPC free BBQ???

The deadline for this job is the 16th so me getting the silvy up there is not going to happen :(
BUT i may fly home for the weekend and bring the hoe down since it has a fresh paint job :P

I was there, broke my posi unit during rumble practice, limped home today.
Green ecsb Ms plate METERS, too bad I didn't get a chance to meet you. I did meet some great and enthusistic young guys with sharp fast trucks, and one real mechanic. It always sucks when you break something but I still had a good time, lost a heads up race to a new grand sport corvette by about .004 sec. learned a little more about tunning [ thanks Jerrod ]. I plan on making some more races this fall hope to see a bigger truck turnout, 5th gen camaros were plentyfull.

I was at LS fest on Friday test and tune I ran one pass rolled off the line and ran 13.2 at 98 (first ever pass on any dragstrip). second pass I gave it all she had and Blowed first and second out of my tranny so I was done by 11:00 Fri. I have the lifted blue 4x4 thats on 20s. I think she was going to go 12.-12.5 until I scattered the tranny. All the camro and vette guys were looking at me crazy in the tech line like wtf is a lifted truck here for until I made my pass.

I was their. Had a great time even though i hurt engine on a 200 shot. Big thanks to the gies @ Truckin Magizine for the event they did for the trucks!!

I tried to find you after that run. But had no idea where you went to. You had some major wheel hop.

:confused: Yeah , I got to work on that:hmmm:, cracked the housing on a eaton posi. I think I didn't put enough heat in the tires to make them stick uniformly? What really causes wheel hop?

SDPC and GM Performance Parts would like to say thanks for all the trucks guys that showed up..From what I did get to see of you guys you had some dang good lookin trucks..If we can keep growing the truck count I would like to see what I could do to get a class in the shoot just for the trucks...Thanks again guys for showing up.....

i was there in a all black gmc crew cab (drove thru the pits), i had to haul the white early 90's chevy long bed turbo'd 6.0 work truck back home on a uhaul trailer back to missouri.

What ever happened to the white silvy on saturday. it was going down the track and filled with smoke bout the 1000ft mark.. said it threw a rod????/

Yeah the white gmc is mine. The boost spiked to 17 on a stock bottom end of a 6.0. And it was only tuned for twelve. There are 3 rods hanging out of it
