Just curious whos doing what. The news has made this a pure freak fest. I have never seen stores this bad. Only thing I have done is make sure the boats got a few extra lines on them, stocked up on some beer. Water is up to the pier deck now, but once this thing takes on land, we are gona get the winds from the north, which is going to blow the bay/tide out. Just not looking forward to a power outage. Talks of 100's of thousands of power going to be down for days. :bang:

People are talking about it here but I am not seeing much change as far as whats going on. I cant imagine we will feel the effects of Sandy this far inland but if these two storms meet up who knows what will transpire.

Hell Gas has dropped here .20 in the last two days.

I know Garret County, Washington County they are calling for blizzard like conditions. Forecast calling for 6''s of rain, along with snow, wind gusts into the 60 range up there. We are supposed to get gust in the 75 range, with sustained 50. Not sure where you are in western PA but can assume around the Pittsburgh area, so that is ruffly 2 or so hours north of Garret.

I rarely pay attention to the news. I think they all are in kahoots with the stores, make people freak out and go crazy shopping. Thats why I said i am not really concerned over this. Just hate loosing power.
