Anybody? If you are tired of going to the track with a bunch of Mustangs, this is the place to be!!
There's gotta be a bunch of guys in the 12's? |
That looks fun but 5.7L is a weird cut off for a power adder. I would have to run bid dog in a 5,300lb 4wd truck. Their are a lot of people running 6.0L in our trucks and tbss.

I'd be there for sure but its the opening day of TROUT SEASON in PA!

I see your point though. There are more 6.0L cars and trucks out there than 4.6L cars (a dwindling crowd). Last year's NSHS event, Big Dog was won with a 10.50 run IIRC. He was a 383 on spray. That's almost 6.3L. Should he be Pro Street or Big Dog? See where this gets tricky? Where do the CTSv's run? Should we go to 6.2L? You can run all of the classes you meet the rules for. You can still run 12.0 Index. You can still run Big Dog for the heck of it. I made 2 rounds of BD at SSHS12 (Atlanta race) with a 12 second car. You can also run Heavy Eliminator. You can test and tune all you want. I ran 4 classes last Nov, Heavy Elim, 12.0 Index, Pro Street and Big Dog (hey, the fast guys could break :D). Thank you for your input, I'll pass it on to the rest of the guys organizing the event. |
