Yeah, you guys are probably right - I'm totally sick of the car scene anyway. Too many a$$holes in those circles and I am tired of the stupid $hit they bring around. I'll still race the car this year, but I'm turning it more towards cruising and street driving. Put a new exhaust on it this past weekend to quiet it down. Probably gonna do some shows with it too. Just tired of the egos in car world - its not fun anymore. Since the money going into the car is gonna slow down, I'll probably mod the truck before too long

Oh ****, that sounded serious. 4.8 turns into 408 I'd hate to see you slow the car down too much....It's badass IMO.

Ha - I was thinking LS2 402 for the truck - they are lighter than the iron block

Thanks on the props on the car! I'm not really gonna slow it down much - might lose a little with the exhaust, but I doubt more than a tenth. Might actually gain some on the motor with a little more torque. I guess what I mean is I'm not gonna keep sinking money into it trying to go faster this year. I'm tired of competing with idiots for a faster timeslip. I think mid 9's in a 3700# street car is an accomplishment I can be proud of - I don't have to keep trying to prove anything to anyone. I wanna drive it more and meet new people at different types of events and shows. I am thinking about taking it to Drag Week this year if I can. That is the ultimate road trip to me - 5 days, 5 tracks, driving from one to the next with no support vehicles or help. I'm down with that! I'll have to haul the car to the first track that is the starting point though - truck will come in handy for that.

Some exhaust work may be in order - its too quiet anyway

I was just surprised it was that low - maybe cause its a 4 wheel drive? Or my big tires? I thought it would make about 230 or so, but I was way off.

I wish I could afford a Radix!!! I want one bad after seeing how all of the ones I've tuned have done.
OK, let's see some pics of the new CAI Which one did ya get?
