Thumbs up Gauging Interest, Black Bear Tuning Meet, Pittsburgh, PA, October 2/3, 2009

Due to a great turn-out in May, we are gauging interest in holding another Black Bear tuning meet in the Pittsburgh, PA area during the weekend of Oct. 2nd/3rd. Meeting place will be the Pittsburgh Mills Mall (Macy's parking lot)...same as last meet. We currently have 9 of the 10 minimum interested parties to schedule the meet. If anyone in the Tri-state area is interested, please post up! If you're on the fence about a Black Bear tune...do it...you will not be disappointed!

My only mods are a CAI and a cat-back and it made a huge difference in my truck. Not just added power, but in driveability and transmission performance. I have yet to hear anyone not satisfied with a tune from Justin. And if you do add some mods in the future, he gives free updates for as long as you own the vehicle, you just pay the shipping.

I would spend the 250 on his tune it would be well spent money on a tune. I gained a 0.4 in the 1/4 just with is tune. Even if you get a mod done in the future he re tunes the truck for free. DO IT!

As chevytruck said, it's $250 for an in-person tune. I had mine done back in May. Basically, you have an hour and a half appointment. Justin plugs in with his laptop, asks you some questions, and works his magic. Then, you hit the highway and he monitors your truck through some WOT runs, etc., and tweaks the tune. I'll add you to the "interested" list...you won't be disappointed!

Black Bear is accepting deposits now for this meet. $50 is required to hold a spot with the balance due the day of the tune meet. Be sure to reference the Pittsburgh Tune Meet when you paypal your deposit:

Is the $50 deposit refundable if you cannot make it or is it non-refundable?

It is definitely refundable if the meet doesn't happen...as far as not making it...I don't know? JennaBear has said in the past that it's done on a case-by-case basis. It wouldn't hurt to email Jenna or Justin or PM them and find out for sure...I don't want to give bad info.
