Hell i wish i could run 11s.... I cant even turn my wheels over on regular basis right now... Im not pushing anywhere near what you are, but my stock, on its last leg, 5.3 would at least do a damn burnout... Sorry back to topic... Slicks would do wonders im sure what tires you running now??

It sounds like you need your tune adjusted.

I have the stock tires. I made some 10" wide wheels for 20" drag radials, but didn't finish them. A short sidewall drag radial would never hook up. I need to go with a tall sidewall. I'm sure my slicks will hook well.

Im gonna have the tune revisited, once i get a decent torque converter installed and my headers on! Off the line my truck kinda sucks but seems it has all the power in the world at 80-100 mph.... Go figure!!!

That makes sense, taller tire more rotating mass..... And slicks are stickier than drag radials!

It's actually the sidewall height that helps the most.

I have the 2 step that EFI Live has offered with their COS. I also have the MSD 2 step on the shelf. My current tranny us just the good shift kit. I have another 4l80e with billet internals and D3 brake. The good parts should be going on it next spring.

Were you locking the converter at the track?

Theres radials pulling 1.0 60s
Do some homework on a good radial and youll change your song
