Default tire help!

does anyone know if a 235 width tire can fit on a 9.5" wide rim?

i have 2 tires i got for free that are 235/50/18 and want to put them on my lightning rims since my old drag radials are thrashed.

my radials were 285/60/18's and i have used a 265 on them before but will a 235 fit or will it be to small?

i think its going to be to small. i have a 235/70/16 on my 16x8 race wheels and it pulls the sidewalls out pretty good

You want to go from a 285 to 235 for the track? You will never hook LOL

I am thinking 235 is going to be pretty skinny for that size rim though.

You can make it work. I run a 235/55R18 up front on a 18x9
