Leveling Kit Recommendation for '03 F-150 SuperCrew 2WD
Hi:
My dad just got himself into a 2003 F150 SuperCrew 2WD. He is really excited about it. He has been wanting to get into a truck for a while now. He wants to level it out by lowering the rear rather than lifting the front. Let me start out by saying that I pretty much know nothing about this topic. I was wondering if I could a leveling kit recommendation. I have come across the Ground Force leveling kit. Are these kits any good? Is there a better brand out there? When I say better I am talking about the quality of the parts and/or the ease of the install as I would like for me and a few buddies to install it for him rather than having him pay a shop labor. My buddies and I put some Koni shocks on my '99 Z28 about a year ago or so ago so we should have the tools to get the job done. If he does take it to a shop, what do you think a fair labor charge would be for installation? Also, is there anything else that you would recommend getting done while I am in there? As mentioned before, I am not familiar with these trucks. The F-150 forum did not have a lot of information on the topic. I searched there and here before posting. Thank you, jdoyle |
if u want to level it out by going down just install some 2"drop shackles in rear and if u want to level it out by going up you can buy the springs off a 250 same model not a superduty and will level it up
