Well I have a problem and I dont know if its the tq converter or the transmission or both.

Sometimes when I leave from a light it slowy goes then it kicks in and slowy picks up speed then it runs like normal like its debating if it wants to leave the light or not. Also when I get up to 80-90mph it gets hung at 5600rpm at full throttle punch and it wont shift. I had my shift points changed to that but it acts like it ran out of transmission or go power. Tonight I was at 70 and floored it and it climbed slowly like I was barely on the gas. But when Im barely am on the gas it goes better. Just off and on when I gas on it, it acts like its not sure if it wants to give me any power.

So does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? Please say tq converter...little bit cheaper to replace. Anyway thank you in advance!

If it was the tranny slipping seems like your rpms would shoot up with little to no accel.
Sounds like a tc to me.

what kind of vehicle and engine are we talking about? check tps,map,maf,sensors. any codes in the computer?

most people cruise at 50-60mph... then go WOT .. it Needs to down shift... Either you dont have enough power to pull the truck or the trans is now working right... how many miles? service it ever?

if it is only doing this at WOT then ya might check yer afr. my fuel pump was getting weak and sometimes when i would wail on it, it would go good at first then kinda nose over --it was leening out-- not sure if this helps or if im confused on the symptoms maybe good luck

sounds like the needels n ur stall are breaking off better get a new one
