Default NV 243 for big power

I'm wanting to use an NV243 with a 4l80e in a truck with about 800whp. I know I need to swap in a 32 spline input shaft. I was told these don't have pump rub issues. Anything else I can do to help it hold up?

Make sure the bearings and chain are good.

Its an electric 241, so it should be plenty strong as is. Just get it into tip top clean shape and party on

Oops. This should be in the GM drivetrain forum. It's another turbo LS deal. Mods feel free to move.

Check the rear bearing housing for damage and replace the rear output shaft snap ring with the reinforced one. They're also prone to wearing the rear driveshaft bushing and seal out because of the crazy long extension housing. Both easy fixes. Otherwise its a super tough unit.
