Default LSD swap for open differential

Hey guys, so I have a 12 bolt main rear truck axle with 3.73 gears and obviously it’s open differential so I want to put in a limited slip in. Is it just a simple carrier swap or would I have to get more items for the swap? Please be specific. Thanks in advance!

What else? Idk much else other than it’s also a 5 bolt, from a ‘75 high Sierra 1/2 ton with drum brakes and is LS swapped. What do you need to know exactly so I can provide?

What was it originally in?

Do you realize you posted your question in the Dodge/Jeep category?

It seems like you'd be best off contacting someone who sells rear end components and asking them directly.
