456 gears for my 2012 Ram

Does anyone know if you can put 4.56's in a 2012 Ram 1500 2wd.
I was told by my guy who does my gears that the 2012 has a new rear and 4.10's is all I can get.

From what I understand you can do them, you just have to grind inside the case some to fit them.

Well we got the 4.56 gears and posi in my sons truck,wow was it expensive $1650 was the total including a new axel from dodge.
