That is odd. Driver mod or better tune?

It's been said that a stall, will gain you anywhere from .4 - .9 of a sec in the quarter, depending on your setup, and how big you stall it.

You can get a "baby" 2600-2800 stall from Circle-D for just shy of 400 bucks, but you'll wanna buy a cooler for sure, and probably a 'vette servo from them at the same time, which will put you around 700.
