What do you need to race?
I am in loveland working and if i can get sunday off i am going to go to the truck show at bandimere. I have only run bikes down a drag strip so not sure what might be required for cars. They have a any 4x4 with dot tires class i might try it. Is there anything I might need? Helmet? Anything that needs to be done to the truck so they will let you race?

Congrats on getting it down the strip! Great fun. 60' is killing you though. Are you building any boost before launch?

No not getting any boost. I can get up to about 3000rpm with the 2800 stall but not in boost yet. It really is a dog off the line. Also a little nervous each time. Not sure I got to 3000rpm before going was afraid it would bump across the line on me. It was a lot of fun. Want to go to a test and tune day so I can practice.

The fun is in the journey. After you arrive then what lol? Not sure what's going on maybe the tune? When I had my 67mm rear mount and 4l60/4.10's with a 3k precision converter it would build to 5lbs in just a couple seconds at 3-32k. Flashed to 2800 but was a dog unless I floored it. Hold it for a few seconds and 4400 and 9-10lbs. and a 1.69 on 20's with that converter. It would 60' a 18X.00 just stomping it on the 20's. It did weigh 5050 though with me RCSB. Build some boost and it will leave hard! You're just getting started after all the bs you've endured and there is a ton left in it. I really admire you not giving up. Just keep taking a step at a time and you'll be in the 11's before its over for sure if you want. BTW cold weather is the **** with a turbo. Cheers to you my friend!

I am also planning to take my truck to A.I.R. in denver area to get dynoed. I think having someone more knowledgeable look over my truck in person is a good idea.
