The only thing i have done different was add some race gas 110 purple from sunico and i have 100,000 miles on this motor now and it's still hangin in there but im fixin to retire the ole 5.3 so wait till i get a 6.0 in the next month and we'll see how it does on a 225 shot !! later

Are really running a 175 dry shot? What is your system? Nice 60' times. What is your traction setup, ET streets only?

That'd be in the 12s don't you think?
I really like your setup... Maybe it's the large dry shot, I'm not sure.

i have sprayed over 60 bottles through this motor and with the speed inc fuel pump and the extra fuel it hasnt knocked yet i have never gotten any knock during a run i guess i am lucky. i want to try a bigger fuel pump when i do the 6.0 swap. i have lakewood traction bars that i have welded up 4 times they have broke with the twist off the line and i have 3 inch shackles and better shocks.

I have a special kit that nitro dave built for me since i told him what i wanted it runs some different pills in this size line and solenoid i have the ice solenoid and a zex nozzle in my 4 inch intake i made with the maf about 8 inchs away from it so it wouldnt freeze. i have not got to adel the 1/4 mile track since i had the 175 shot and et streets but i mph'd 106 there with nittos and a open rear end. so i think i should be atleast 12.70 at 108 or better i hope.
