So the nearest track opened up last weekend to start off the season. Full day of test and tune. Decided to take the truck and get some times before i upgraded the transmission. Made 6 passes in total. Car #90

First pass i got a lil anxious and blew off the tires bad. 2.7 60' :jest:

Second pass same tire pressure (around 40psi) was my best mph @ 81.11.

Then i let some air out. went down to (approx. 22psi) managed a 2.1 60' and the best pass of the day 9.013 @ 80.93

4th pass i left good, and then the tires blew off at the top of first gear.

5th pass should have been my best, started off with the gear selector in 1 truck pulled its best 60' and was running great and i forgot to shift into 2 :sigh:

6 pass the transmission was begging for me to stop, so i packed up and headed home.

Not bad at all for an ecsb on only 7 psi. Sounds like some drag radials and traction bars are in your near future!

Not a bad place to start. Easy 8s on the way!

I went a couple weeks ago and all we have is an 1/8. Ran 8.65 at 79 mph with a 1.86 60ft. It's fun an addicting. Good runs

Well i was at least hoping for a mid 8 sec. pass. but with a stock trans and street tires you really can't ask for much. and my setup isn't really for the track. definitely feels faster on the street.

My first pass was a 9.54 @ 5.5 lbs lol. What a POS! Changed gears, same weather...8.90 @ 5.5lbs. A step at a time :)

I'm assuming you're 2wd? Sounds like you need traction bad.

yup 2wd, didn't really spin on take off I tried to feather the throttle, top of first gear spun bad.

the 1-2 shift felt like it took a full second to accomplish, slipping and what not
