Thanks everybody. stock48, 3.73 and 91 octane plus an Alky kit with 10lb nozzle, 100% methanol.

Cool! I had a 2wd 4.8l truck that had 3.42's and got over 20MPG. Do you get killer milage with that? I wouldn't think the charger would hurt milage too bad under cruise. I like the idea of a fast fuel efficent truck. I allways thought a Maggy would work well on a 4.8. My dad had one on a stock 5.3, it charged out of the hole, but kind of flatend off up top. I bet the 4.8 carries out the power alot further.

I probably end up with 20mpg if I am going 70mph. There is a little bit of drag on the belt at all times and the intake runners are way shorter than optimal at the speeds where I cruise, but I don't think it hurts the economy more than 1-2 at the most. I think it is a great mix of mpg and power.

I have spun the truck as high as 6400 rpm, but the torque peak occurs a few thousand below that. I haven't had it on the dyno but it feels like it makes major torque between 3-5k rpm.
