Made a little side trip this weekend. Went to hang out with my old buddies on the Div 1 points race scene.
Actually.....I used to be the Crew Chief on this team way back in the early years of Top Alcohol racing. I still keep in touch, and every once in a while, make it out to the races.
There blowers pull in SO MUCH air, you actually have to spray de-icer on the butterflies!
Qualified #1 at 5.44 263mph. Got beat in the semi-finals : 5.32 271 to a losing 5.44 246
All in all, a good weekend
