why cant you just grind down the calipers that are on the truck or just get another set from autozone or napa and grind them down? what do you gain outta the S10 calipers?

the banjo bolt on the OEM silverado calipers will not let you install the wheel. from what i understand the s10 caliper will bolt right up and relocates the banjo bolt to the back side of the caliper.

This what I as told haven't tried them yet.

They are from oreily
part number 18-4713 and 18-4712 they are from a 2002 chevy blazer s-10 v6 4.3. they were 45 $ each caliper.

i know for a fact that bluecajan5.3 used his stock calipers with 15s he just ground the face and top of them down but i guess having the bleeder in the back makes life easier

You can also use suburban/yukon rear brakes. They use thicker rotors and dual piston calipers, the banjo bolt is also in a different location so you can run deep backspacing wheels.
