Mods - Greene Racing custom tune, BES Stage 1 Heads, Greene Racing Stage 1 HL Camshaft, Stainless Works 1 3/4" LTs, Fastman 84 mm, ATI Underdrive, Ported Intake Manifold, Clutch Fan Delete, 170 Tstat, and a Circle D 2600-2700 Converter

Fully prepped on drag radials, but did leave the gate on because it looks better!

Threads like yours make me really think about getting a newer dodge. My wife drives a 08 SRT8 charger with the 6.1, that has 150K on the clock with out one problem and it still gets down. If they would step up and put a bigger engine in them then the 5.7. I would trade mine tomorrow.

I really want the 8 speed with 3.92 for towing.

I love it. Haha. I came from a 4l60e though.

I think its a great transmission it does what its suppose to do then some. The 4.56 1st gear ratio makes for an awesome take off when towing heavy like I do or when I'm racing. It has no problem spinning the tires to mid 3rd gear even with my 3.23 rear end ratio and 33x12.50r20 mud tires.

Here is a video from last time out where I broke the differential off the line, fixed it and went back ran the 12.22 and a 12.33 missing all my shifts lol

Have what is suppose to be a 4000 stall going in the truck and shooting for a 11 second pass next time out. Then pulling the 5.7 block for a 6.4 based 426 stroker.
