this would be the only time that an issue/excuse is actually pretty damn impressive and good news for me.
usually i run low 9's at over 150mph.
this time, after consulting the Ouija board, it ran an 8.9 @ 13x.
The converter isn't holding on the top of both gears.
hits rev limiter for a bit 1-2, then hits on top of second.
you cant hear it in this vid, but i ran it on the rev limiter from the 1000ft and after, hence the slow mph.
but this is good news, it's gonna run even stronger after i get the converter issue lined out.
add to that cold weather.
this was a 1.34 sixty foot.
shooting for mid 8's on high boost and over 160mph
btw, truck weighs in at 3908lbs. has stock front suspension, bbc radiator, multiple coolers, 100% full front accessories, including power steering, yadi yadi yadi and can easily drive to the local truck shows and idle in traffic.
next mod, weight reduction! then front suspension work.
