Default Edge Converter?

I found this converter
GM 4L60E - 700R4 3000 STALL TORQUE CONVERTER 9.5 TCI B&M EDGE | eBay

I am looking for a mild stall in my Tahoe. It will stay N/A and generaly I dive with a very light foot. But as a gear head I always want to be able to play. It is a full lockup according to there web site. Just looking for to make sure it will last me a good long wile.

Some people like them but from everyone I've personally known they've had issues with the company and converters.... If you want a well built, inexpensive converter you can't go wrong with Circle-D's 278mm converter, normally they can be stalled anywhere from 2400-3200, your choice.

I figured you'd try building one first though.....

Since no body is freaking out I am going to guess it should be a good converter. If I can get it for a great price I will pick it up. If it gets too high I will look into the circle D or something else used. Thanks.

Iv run lots of edge converters and have never had a single problem with them, Ondray is a vary cool guy and vary good to get along with, 2 year free anything if you tare it up, free restalls if it dont do what he said it would and 100 bucks for cut and clean or restall vs 300 for yank. That aint a circle d of yank cause the yanks iv had do perform a little better but for what you want you will be vary happy with it I think.

CircleD hands down! I loved my 278mm behind my LQ9 in the 60, i got a 3600 3C for the 80 i am building sitting in the box, ready togo!!! I am all about customer service, each and every time i have talked to Chris from CircleD on the phone, i felt warm and fuzzy. So i don't care how much it costs he gets my business, and he is in Texas so it is a win win.... Plus i believe he gives free shipping to forum members...
