Are you running the 20's on youre truck when you run it at the track? And what is the race weight if you know? I have an ls1 I am going to rebuild and put in this thing soon just want to play with the little motor first. From what I have seen the NNBS RCSB trucks are about the same weight as the classic ECSB.
4.10+ 3600 stall/ should get you moving off the line.pretty fast. 1.90 @ 60ft atleast/
i think ur tune is way off*

i hit 14.2 with just a cam(hot cam) that cam sucks for track it's meant for top End/ + tune / i dont have a stall , i hit 2.09 on my 60ft/
on 5.3/ its not much different between 4.8/5.3 on these nnbs/ friends of mine running 4.8's are running low 14.s' on same setups'

sorry to tell u guys but i was running 14.2 with just a wheatley tune and a intake no headers just a muffler ,
with a 3.42 gear ..... and i have vids to prove it then i had LT headers w/stock cats and i went a 13.9
the tune on that truck is WAYYYYY off ... even for a 4.8 it should have done better than that

I started a thread for the NNBS trucks track times so everyone tell all these 13 second bolt on 4.8 nnbs trucks to post instead of comparing my 4.8 to your 5.3 or a lighter truck that weighs 300+ less than mine on small 26' tall tires when I did my runs on 20's. I bet you guys would think someone comparing there 6.0l to your 5.3 would be an idiot.
4.8's do not make the tq that a 5.3 does period. I put a 2500 pi converter in a 05 silverado with LT and a tune it ran 9.06 in the 1/8. he 60ed 1.90's on radials and stock 17's
