Default 1st Time Ever in the Track (timeslip inside)

This is my first time ever with the truck in the 1/4 mile track.

It's NA 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 Truck 4x4 RCSB stepside.

weight is 4510 Ibs with me in the truck. Stock stall.

Comments are welcomed. Looking to improve my 60' to go into low 13. Might put higher stall TC.

I was using 4WD during this run because traction was bad in 2WD.

My best time in 2WD mode was 14.5 in two runs.

It has stock 3.73 gear ratio.

Your picking fast in the last half but your sluggish out of the hole. You need a converter bad that will give you better shift extensions.

You are right. I am think that if I launch it at higher rpm, I can improve 60' and pick up some time.

Also, I forgot to mention that I was running with x-force 3" Varex remote control muffler set at Race Mode. It has 1 7/8 headers through 3" off-road y-pipe, no cats, stright 3" pipe through the muffler to the back all the way 3".

http://www.xforce.com.au/about-varex...ts-muffler.php

It dynoed 450rwhp/480rwtq through A4 on Dynomax.

I am just a little worried that my ET is not matching the hp/tq numbers for the weight of my truck. I am thinking it should go low 13 or high 12.

What do you guys think.

.8 or so shouldn't be a problem if you get your 60' down. Then go from there.
