got a comp cam kit that is brand new still in boxes (cam,springs,push rods, retainers) its been sitting in its original packaging for around 3 years on a shelf in my garage dont have the car no more so i think its time to let it go lol ... the oil that cam in the cam wrapping appears to have dried up but it does wipe off , i just used a lil wd40 and a micro fiber cloth and it rubbed off , see pic below IT IS NOT RUST. parts are good for 5.7 or 6.1l hemi.

comp cam part number 112-501-11 (cam)
comp cam part number 761-16 (retainers)
comp cam part number 7914-16 (pushrods)
comp cam part number 26918-16 (springs)
if you google all these part numbers you will see it will add up to about $700 in parts , im asking $550 shipped

I dont have a whole lot of experience with the Hemi, but what does a cam like this do to the power curve? Shift RPM? What size converter would work welll with it? I'm just curious.

its a comp 268 cam.great in a single cab, but not great in a qc,or cc
specs are 216/220-..528/.531-113lsa
its a 2600ish to 6600 rpm cam good mid, strong top, nice lopey idle we love. a 2800 stall min.
