Default IOD Fuse Trouble

Hello all, I strictly signed up here just to ask you all a question that hopefully someone can answer for me.

I own a 1997 Dodge Dakota 3.9L, and for some reason the I.O.D fuse keeps popping ever since I disconnected the battery to work on the truck. My thinking is that some part of the power wire is exposed and shorted out. But I want to figure what exactly the I.O.D fuse powers up, or if there is anything else that could have caused this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think it has to do with radio memory?... I had this happen on a jeep. As soon as i would replace the dome light fuse the IOD fuse would blow. I looked it up online and it said the IOD fuse had to do with radio memory, i moved some radio wires around and never had a problem since...

What exactly did you move around? Because I had to re-tap my radio so at least that would work. But now the dome light, power mirrors, and the cargo light do not work.
