LS1 swap sez it all
you see people swapping late mopar powertrains into anything ?
of course not it's all GM same as it ever was
240z's, E36's, mustangs, fairmonts, you see em all the track sporting bow ties
anything else is just lame ..................when it comes to $ to fun ratio chevy rules
I've had 4 people respond to my RCSB ad wanting to trade Lightnings

The truck of the year award cracks me up personally. There are what, 5 different possibilities? Whenever a truck gets redesigned, it wins. Then the next year another gets redesigned, and it wins.
2007 - Chevy Silverado after their redesign
2008 - The terrible Tundra because nobody else had a redesign
2009 - The F150 after you guessed it, a redesign
2010 - Dodge Ram HD, after a redesign
2011 - Chevy Silverado HD after a facelift
2012 - Ford F150 after 4 new engines were released
I would bet (if I had any money) that GM gets it next year.
With that said I like the new Dodges, they look great and the Hemi performs without question. I still prefer Chevy and the HUGE aftermarket support for them. Showroom performance is nice, but I don't buy my vehicles to leave them the same as everyone else, so aftermarket availability matters a lot to me.

See I have come from a long list (30 years) of nothing but GM, and an occational Ford. Looked at all, priced them all, and at the time options to options, GM didnt have anything to meet the Express package, power, and looks. The '10 and '11 GM's were just like everyone elses.
They are later to the performace scene as tuners just came out for '11's..and '12's are around the corner. but the partners that grouped up with Mopar Performance and Accessories are tuning in the neighborhood of 50rwhp gains on stock Hemi. Add a Supercharger, Turbo, headers, etc the will soon catch on with the other big 2.
I LOVE the Sierra Xcab, just at the time I wanted a sport 2 door, and options was GM with a V6 or 4.8, rarely see a 5.3, and if so, he had disc/drum brakes, 17's, single exhaust, etc...where the Ram Express had 20's, duals, 5.7 standard, disc/disc, for a better price tag. Been over a year for me, over 7300 miles and still love it like it was day one.

I wanted a magnum wagon love the way it looks well
(aside from the big Diesel Rig Grill mind you) after spending a few days reading forums about Dodges in general Rams, chrysler 300s, etc etc I don't give good God Damn what motor trend says
ps I distinctly remember the desperation expressed by the seller of 2006 RCSB
4.7 6 speed manual I was considering He wanted out and he wanted out bad
I recently read about a hemi RCSB running 12.0 quarters I thought to myself
"How Many more times"
recent ads on craigslist for magnum wagons "New engine at ----- miles"
read it over and over again
I'd like to see the lemon law buy back statistics for new mopars
BTW that new Dart sure looks like a real weiner

Motor Trend mag just called, they are disappointed you dont agree............
Drove one of the first Magnums that was never released with the BIG Hemi, that would have been an animal if went to market.
Most people that do want to sell their used cars want out of them, kind of an odd relation.
Lemon law and recalls can be research if your inclined.
PS the new Dart's where a HUGE hit at SEMA BTW, we had one in our booth, people loved it.
Dunno, you always have fans and haters. Good to be that way or we'd all have the same vehicle.
